What the Sample Box can do

There is no end to what you can do with the Sample Box as you can record whatever you like! You can use the in-built microphone, or you can record things that you plug in : synths, drum machines etc. To record you just switch it into 'record mode', press and hold the record/play button and say or do what you want! The ‘record’ LED will light to show you are recording, and will go off when you run out of time or stop holding the record/play button. Then just flick it back into 'play mode' and you can play the sample with the record/play button. You will hear your beautifully lo-fi sample. You have to wait until your sample has played through before you can play it again. Now you can mess with your sample! You can turn the pitch dial on, and use it to take your sample to squeaky highs, or extreme bassy lows! The Glitch Distortion switch makes whatever ever you recorded sound twisted and distorted. When recording using the 1/4'' jack input, you will not hear what you are recording coming through the Sample Box, this stops noise leakage, and means if you are using a mic, you wont be getting any feedback! If you want to hear what you are recording you can just plug some headphones into whatever you are recording, or split the signal and have one jack going into the sample box and one into your amp/computer/pa/mixer. Only plug line signals into the input of the sample box, e.g circuit bent stuff, keyboards, mp3 player, drum machine. You can use a mic but there will be a lot of hum, which you might like with the pitch dial and glitch distortion! Use the in-built mic to record anything other than line signals.

The Sample Box is capable of an infinite amount of sounds, between the controls on the device, and being able to record whatever your heart desires! And it starts sounding even more amazing when put through some external effects, like reverb, delay etc

The dimensions of the box are about 130mm x 65mm x 45mm.
