What the Photoresistor Synth can do
The Photoresistor Synth is similar to an SS-1. It puts out a basic squarewave. You can turn on the photoresistor and the more light that is let in the higher the pitch will go. You can make it squeal or groan, and go extremely quickly between the two, making some very interesting sounds! You can then use the body contacts to make another squarewave. When the body contacts are not touched they will make no sound, but the more contact you make with your body the higher they squeal. The body contacts can be used at the same time as the photoresistor. When you first turn on the Photoresistor Synth LEDS will light, then they will flash in time with pressing the body contacts. If you barely touch the body contacts, the LEDS will flash slowly with the metronome-like sound of the squarewave. The more contact you make, the faster the LEDS flash until they just look like they are constantly on! After pressing the body contacts the LEDS can either end up ON or OFF. This means that if you want to turn the LEDS off for any reason you must just make brief contact with the body contacts.
The Photoresistor Synth runs on a 9v battery (not included). The dimensions of the box are about 100 x 75 x 40.
