2 songs my dad wrote and recorded in 1972. I never thought I'd hear them as all the records had been lost in time, but recently my aunt Jenny found one online, pretty scratched and crackly!

It was interesting to hear him singing nearly 50 years ago, long before I was born.

Getting a Sak Yant tattoo by a monk in Phan, northern Thailand in 2014. A Sak Yant is a tattoo believed to hold magic power, and many laymen and monks have them in South East Asia.

This one on my arm is a wish for a compassion in the world. Although since 2014 I'm not sure it's worked very well!

We were wondering around this empty temple in the middle of nowhere before eventually this monk showed up. I don't think he'd seen many westerners before. He quickly scribbled the design on with a pen, and went to work. He picked these dirty old needles out of a tin, and nothing was clean or sterile, which was a bit worrying. But I'm alive so nothing too bad!

It will always remind me of the most special times of my life in Northern Thailand

Also missing my local little Thai restaurant in Wiang Chai, a village in the middle of nowhere. 60p for an amazing meal. I pretty much ate the same thing every day for years...Pad Pongari, so tasty. Followed by a fresh mango shake and then a 2 hour massage for £10. Paradise 🌞

Sorting through old photos. These are mostly from my first couple of years at @newlifefoundation.thailand near Chiang Rai.

I went to this place a complete mess, so anxious and worried about all the people and groups. I also was scared it might be full of new age mega hippies, one of my greatest fears! But luckily I was wrong 🙂

I owe my life to this place in many ways. The progress I made there was more than I'd made in 20 years before. I met such amazing friends who I'm still so close with. Friends who I could joke and have fun with, but more importantly who knew how to support each other and how to be then when the other fell apart. I hadn't experienced anything quite like that before. Very grateful to still be in contact with you all

I have so many beautiful memories of my first few years there starting in 2013, I really felt I was just in the right place at the right time, it was euphoric...and without drugs! I feel a little melancholy when I look back on that time, as nothing quite compares now 🙂

Big love to all my new life friends from all over the world, missing you all, and to the many who sadly passed away. 🙏
