Music for Film

Here are 30 tracks I’ve composed and recorded to be used in either my own or other people’s films.

I have composed the original scores for two feature length documentaries – Honest without Fear and Running on Empty, the latter you can watch on Channel 4.

I compose music and do the sound design and mix on the majority of my films and commercial work. I can also re arrange stock music when a client needs a quick turnaround, and add instrumentation if needed.

I’ve made music in various genres from a young age, you can find some of it in the music section of my site. I am always looking for ways to subtly capture the emotion in a film, whilst not being heavy handed or on the nose.

ELECTRONIC

Here are a selection of 19 electronic pieces, some I’ve written as part of a band or group, some written alone.

I made a variety or electronic, experimental, dance and ambient music over the years, and some of it would be well suited to film and video.

I like to use a variety of old synths, tape delays, effects pedals and homemade synths and circuit bent instruments, as well as calling on my substantial collection of sample libraries and plugins. Feel free to check out some of my more electronic projects under the music section of my site.
