The idea for The Box Collective came from Alex Delfont and Tom Meddings in 2008 as a place for us and our friends to release music or art for free. The site will be kept in shape by me (Alex), just in case you find a mistake and want to let me know! Since the early days as a free net label, The Box Collective has evolved into more of an events/party machine. We won't be releasing music anymore, but you can click here to see a list of all the past releases on The Box Collective.

Musically, we are heading in a direction which is more progressive and less in your face, with the focus on creating a great space to dance and hang out. There's nothing better than seeing a dance floor full of smiling faces, lost in the music! So have a look around the website, and hopefully we'll see you soon :)
